Wanted for Murder

Elfego Sosa

On June 4th, 1995 Sosa alledgedly shot and killed Alfredo Maldonado. The shooting occurred on a soccer field located in the eastern section of Wayne County. Sosa is a 36 year old Hispanic male, 5'3, 140 pounds. Sosa should be considered armed and dangerous. Warrants charging Sosa with Murder are on file with the Wayne County Sheriff's Office. Anyone who could possibly provide the location of Elfego Sosa, or that has any other information is urged to contact Det. Lt. George Raecher of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office at (919)580-4067, or Call Crime Stoppers at 735-2255. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1000.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
